Lady Gaga Presents The ArtRave
Lady Gaga is returning to Australia in August 2014 for her ArtrRave World Tour and ticket sales have been less than Impressive. In 2012 she performed 14 sold out shows in Australia and in 2014 she can’t even sell out one of the 4 shows they have initially announced. Live Nation has left a few dates between each scheduled city to allow additional shows but were they being too ambitious? The sale figures for ‘Artpop’ in Australia were less than impressive and got overshadowed by Katy Perry’s album ‘Prism’. She also never had a commercial hit single like she has on her previous albums in Australia. Live Nation have set prices quite expensive for this tour and it seems to be one of the main things holding this tour back. If ticket prices were a bit more affordable and if the marketing on the lead up to this tour was done a bit better I reckon ticket sales would be higher. However anyone who has purchased tickets to this tour will be in for a visual spectacular with a setlist full of her greatest hits and songs from Artpop. Lady Gaga took to Twitter this week to unveil the stage design and explains that fans will be able to dance underneath the runways.

Saturday August 23 – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
