Ahead of touching down in Australia next month for Splendour In The Grass, SPIN OFF Festival and headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, the Swedish megastar has kept the new music rolling with another new single. “I like u” is directly inspired by the world of “Dirt Femme” and the chaotic party vibes that the tour has brought. 

Deeply rooted in the epic dance-pop sound behind tracks like “2 Die 4”, “Call On Me”, and “Pineapple Slice”, she delivers a nostalgic leaning pop anthem. Taken from your Y2K fantasies, “I like u” has a familiarity to it that takes you directly to every incredible party you’ve ever been to. The “La-la-like you, I la-la-la-like you” hook will circle your brain while you immediately find yourself  back on those dance floors covered in sweat, glitter and smelling of alcohol. It’s an infectiously catchy track that will only take you one listen to fall in love with it.

Written about infatuation, this song captures the lust and desire of wanting to get to know someone, even if the stars aren’t aligned.
