Introducing your favourite new artist of 2023, Logan. The Gold Coast based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, dancer, and producer is roaring into his breakout year with a colourful vision of creativity that will have you immediately hooked. Following his bold debut single “Stop And Stare” in May, he’s immediately backed it up with a song full of personality that truly introduces who he is to listeners in the most direct way possible.

“Huh” feels like a song Logan always needed to write, and one he needed to release during his introductory moment as an artist. Lyrically it’s a “get to know me” informercial in a punchy 2 and a half minute indie-pop track. “I’m high quality – Japan made, Kiwi Born, Aussie Raised” he sings as well as hitting listeners with “Look good, they tell me. Don’t interrupt me while I’m walking on the street”. He even incorporates a cheeky like “Hit The Road Jack” reference in the second verse which will make for a perfect scream-along moment in his future live shows. 

Led by an infectious baseline and a groovy guitar riff and drum beat, this song is immediately catchy and gives you reminiscent vibes of The Rubens, Lakyn and The Rions.

Accompanying the song is an aesthetically pleasing music video, thats brings his unique charisma to the forefront visually. It’s captivating the whole way through while also showcasing exactly who Logan is as an artist, as well as a 21 year old. It’s goofy, playful, cheeky, DIY, and undeniably cool. It’s honestly my favourite music video of the year so far.
