SINGLE REVIEW: ZAYN – Love Like This

After a brief little hiatus and a change of record labels, ZAYN is back and he is sounding the best he has in years. “Love Like This” brings back the experimentally charged excitement behind his debut album “Mind Of Mine”, and will have you falling in love with his vocals and songwriting all over again.

Produced by The Monsters And Strangerz and Jon Bellion, this song brings back the raw essence of ZAYN that was missing from his sophomore album “Icarus Falls” and was watered down on his third record “Nobody Is Listening”. It truly feels like he’s back to his full form. It’s an exhilarating listen from start to finish, with a drum and bass influenced beat that will be stuck in your head immediately. It’s a very UK-centric production that will bring summer to you no matter where you are in the world. It may be Winter in Australia, but according to ZAYN, it no longer is.

The loved-up track is all about the initial rush of falling in love with someone where you wanna drop everything and just be with them. You’ll do pretty much anything for them, and while that may not be what you’re like normally, there’s just something about them that makes you want to do that. “I guess that’s love like this. Usually, I never wanna jump like this. But I think I wanna dump my chips ‘cause I cannot go back” he honestly sings.

“Love Like This” is a pure smash for ZAYN and welcomes him back centre-stage to the pop world.
