The Snuts know how to deliver a punchy live show full of big singalong’s, catchy guitar riffs, and a whole lot of energy. Returning to Australia for a three-day whirlwind trip, the Scottish indie-rock band didn’t hold back as they proved to audiences why their live show has become so acclaimed. Wrapping up the tour in Sydney at Manning Bar, they walked out onto the stage to an excited reaction from the crowd as they launched into recent single “Gloria”. The singalong’s were quickly ignited with “Seasons”, “Maybe California” and fan favourites “Knuckles” and “Burn The Empire” following. Teasing the crowd with new music, “Dreams” was a new track they tested out, and it already felt like a hit in their set.
Thanking the crowd for coming out, their thick Scottish accents kept everyone on high alert in between songs. The crowd were singing along to all the songs in the set, and matching the energy from lead singer Jack Cochrane. “All Your Friends”, “Hallelujah Moment”, and “The Rodeo” filled out the show before they returned for a four song encore of “Glasgow”, “Somebody Love You”, “What’s Going On” and “Fatboy Slim”, which received an interpolation of “Let Me Entertain You” from Robbie Williams.
The Snuts are a great live band, and this show noted that and will have you ready to see them back here playing festivals and bigger venues.
