LIVE REVIEW + GALLERY: Camila Cabello – Hordern Pavilion

Camila Cabello having one of the best pop concert production’s I’ve seen in 2025 was not on my bingo card. But the Yours, C Tour was a spectacle from the moment it began, right through to the final closing moments of “I LUV IT”. And when you stripped away all of the shiny production, Camila carried the show with such star power and had you utterly mesmerised by her vocals and her dancing.

Bringing an arena-level production to the Hordern Pavilion is something you don’t often get to see, but when it happens it feels super special, and that’s exactly what Camila did. With a big stage structure that opened up and moved around to have different configurations, it allowed her to have such a visually striking show that felt fresh and not like anything I had seen recently. Opening with “Shameless”, “Liar”, “baby pink”, and “HE KNOWS” she quickly set the expectations for the show with her diving into her back catalogue and giving fans a full picture of her career to date (minus her time in Fifth Harmony, and her stunning debut solo single “Crying in the Club”), and really highlighted how underrated her new record “C,XOXO” was. “Never Be The Same”, “Used To This”, “B.O.A.T”, and “Don’t Go Yet” were clear standouts in the live show and created those goose-bump worthy moments. She even performed a stunning piano cover of “Torn” from Natalie Imbruglia, and also brought on-stage long-time Australian fan Elisha for “DREAM-GIRLS” who she explained had knowing for 10 years.

Every song in the set felt like it was a performance at an award show or a late-night TV show with how tight the band were, to the pyro and co’2 cannons going off non-stop, to the dancers being stars themselves, and to the absolute superstar level Camila performed at. It was all very intricately put together, but it didn’t feel insincere, and you didn’t feel like you lost her at all in the show which is easy to do in a production like that.

I’m going to admit it that walking into the show I absolutely under-estimated Camila Cabello, but by the end she left me completely flawed. She treated the show at an arena level, and has left me convinced that she will be in those arena’s next time she’s here with an even bigger production because she’s ready for it.
